I have mixed feelings about this book. It was a slow start and the main character is annoying and finally when it started to get interesting it end. I am not sure if I am going to read the next book in this series yet. I would not recommended this book to my friend because it was not that great.Product details

This book was such a joyful quick read. I literally couldn't put it down all day. The love triangle, square between Aimee and her men is very compelling. The twist and turns if her life made this book a blast to read. I'm more than excited to start reading the next in the series! As clinched as the book is, it is still heart wrenching to read and unravel with each scene. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I don't even know where to begin. This book was horrible. Do they not edit ebooks?
I' m happy this book was free because if I'd spent any money I'd want a refund. The writing is amateur at best with dialogue just tossed in for no reason. Aimee' s actions and responses is just so ridiculous.
The only good thing I can say is that this author can't get any worse. She can only improve from here.
The idea of the story is interesting. A young girl has been kidnapped, Her memory has been wiped. She wakes up in a hospital and is taken under her wing by a very rich family and is about to marry their son.
Just before her marriage she sees her fiancee kill her best friend. She runs and is helped by a lovely young man who brings her back to her parents.
Her irrational, egocentric and arrogant behavior were to irritating for me. Although I was curious how the story would develop the main character was too annoying, too much a spoiled brat. Could not finish the story
It was total mystery and romance from start to finish. The more I read the less I wanted to put the book down. As for the heroine there are some issues I have with Aimee. No matter what, unless I was under some kind of syndrome, I would ever be able to love some one who murdered my best friend. Yes, Dereck, Aimee's fiancée, has bee loving to her but you have to stop at some point and see what's in front of your eyes.Then Aimee feels that she's deeply in love with her ex-boyfriend, Alec, but she keeps him at arms length, pushing him away while telling him she's in love with him. I assume Alec is a very strong vampire yet the author makes him look wimpy when he can't even defend or help defend his love Aimee. Don't get me wrong, I really liked the book and it's romance and intrigue, but the characters need some work done, and they need to have character and be more profound.

What an interesting story of a young woman who has no memory of her prior years. Two days before her wedding day, Aimee witnesses a horrific crime and escapes, only to find herself in another lifestyle where she did have a beginning before she was kidnapped. Who to trust? Who to believe? Who to love?
Each chapter brought a twist and turn to events that left her (and me) reeling. This is a tale (with a cliffhanger) involving werewolves and vampires. Aimee lives and loves both worlds; both worlds do not live and love each other. I'd be interested to read Book 2 to learn whether she chooses one or can find a midpoint and enjoy both.
So at the end of Book 1, Aimee leaves one world (with a friend/bodyguard) to enter the previous world she hurriedly left to...what? And that's where I'll follow Aimee's story in Book 2.
I liked this new take on vampire romances and werewolves. although since the werewolves didn't only change during a full moon, perhaps they were more shapeshifters. As the only person born with the genes of a werewolf and vampire, Ammie is something special. The Rogue werewolves kidnap her and wipe her memories in order to have her on their side, knowing she is destined for greatness one day. After witnessing her fiance do something horrific on their wedding day, Ammie leaves him and falls into the arms of Alec a vampire she once loved, but doesn't know now. Once she is brought back home, she finds her mother who she thought she lost, and she begins to regain memories, especially of her and Alec. While her feelings for him begin to resurface, she fights the feelings that came from loving the werewolf Derek for six years. After an attack from someone inside the vampire community working with the rogues almost causes Alec to die, Amy realizes that she will need to leave and face her kidnapper and love Derek in order to move on with her new life.
I gave it a 3 star because the central idea is quite good but goodness is this story beyond a really terrible mess! Visually there is a great deal wrong which I realise can happen with self-publishing but it's so much more than that. Choice of words don't make sense, the characters often have the most inane conversations. Character development is non-existent. Things just happen and the effect on people is told to us. We don't feel it. It is hard to connect to the world-building and to the creatures in it.
What a waste of a great idea! I had downloaded the second in the series, well this one was free and sounded good, and now I am cringing at having to read it. This is not because I am being critical but because I am so disappointed with this first one, and afraid to go through the process again. I want to like a book. I will try it so wish me luck.
