Wow, I just really, really loved this one. I kept trying to make predictions, and the amswers were always better than I'd guessed. The characters are wondefully developed, and the foreshadowing was perfect, with moments of wonderful humor threaded throughout. My only question is when can I get my hands on the next one?
This story nails everything In-depth characters, character development, exciting plot twists, and most importantly for fantasy readers, a world of wonder to explore.

You'll be so invested in this masterpiece you'll lose track of time!
Again and again, Anne Stryker's romances draw me in, one delicious word at a time. Watching Bryn and Rhyeos fall for one another was everything I needed, right when I needed it. And it had just enough dark, glorious mystique to keep me on the edge of my seat the whole ride through, complete with a whirlwind ending worth waiting for.

BRING ME BOOK TWO. I NEED IT IN MY LIFE.
I'm not sure what I expected, but this blew it away. I loved the twists of this story and the new world introduced. I am anxious for another book from this world!
First off, I was so excited to be a part of this book release and be able to read and review an ARC of this book! Thank you so much Anne Stryker!
While this book isn't very long, it is full of beautiful fantasy world building, a quick romance and great characters. The pacing in this story was just perfect for the length. It didn't drag at anytime but it also wasn't rushing or lacking necessary information. The writing and plot also didn't lack given the length of the book. The descriptions and setting in this book were so clear and concise and I really enjoyed that. Rhy is such a funny and charming character and I loved how relatable Bryn was. I really hope there is going to be more coming with these characters and I'd love to see the progression of Rhy and Bryn's relationship. There was a perfect amount of action and everything was wrapped up so nicely at the end. I was left wanting more adventure. I highly recommend you check this out (when it comes out on on September 19!!) if you want a quick, fast paced read with memorable characters! I'll definitely be checking out Anne's other books as I loved her writing style!
